La Hacienda partners with Safe Call Now - Saving the lives of those who protect us
Safe Call Now is a 100% confidential, comprehensive, 24-hour crisis referral service for all public safety employees, all emergency services personnel and their family members nationwide. Founder and CEO Sean Riley had a prominent career in law enforcement which ended in 2005 when he could no longer hide his “secret” behind the badge.
Staffed by officers, former law enforcement officials, and public safety professionals, Safe Call Now is a safe place to turn to get help from individuals who understand the demands of a law enforcement career. Volunteers working for this fantastic organization do a private assessment and make recommendations to help aid these real-life heroes in getting them the help they need. Sean and his trusted confidants have sought out La Hacienda Treatment Center to provide these individuals with the information, tools, and programs they will need to make recovery a reality. La Ha’s clinical staff of over 55 licensed professionals including physicians, psychiatrist, therapists and nurses are not only dedicated to reversing the progression of addiction but they also recognize the private nature and specific needs of these individuals.
Janet Blackburn, Director of Clinical Services for La Hacienda, realizes both the similarities in philosophies and the true benefits of this partnership. “Our clinical team utilizes Safe Call Now as a resource in discharge planning to improve the outcome for law enforcement agents after treatment. It is very important that these men and women have support from an organization that understands their unique needs as they acclimate to a new sober life.”
The relationship between La Hacienda and Safe Call Now is founded on honor, service and Safe Call’s vision and mission to save the lives of those who protect us. La Hacienda is proud to be partnered with Sean and such an integral part of this movement.
