• In order to promote a safe environment for recovery, we ask you to respect the confidentiality of all patients and family members engaged in treatment. Do not take pictures or audio/video recordings.

  • Pets are not allowed on campus and must not be left in vehicles anywhere on La Hacienda’s property. If you must bring a pet, make boarding arrangements for their care off campus.

  • Pack tennis shoes and casual clothing for the Tuesday morning ropes course activity.

  • Though not required, we recommend participants attend an Al-Anon meeting prior to Family Program. Al-Anon provides support to family and friends of alcoholics and addicts. You can locate the nearest Al-Anon meeting through Al-Anon.org.

  • Family Program participants are strongly encouraged to abstain from alcohol and other mood-altering substances for the duration of the program, except for medications prescribed by a personal physician. If prescription medication is brought onto the La Hacienda grounds, the medication must be locked in your car for safe keeping. Due to regulations, our medical team cannot treat or dispense any medications to visitors or guests.
