Cade Saurage, La Hacienda’s Director of Utilization Management and Partnerships, will speak to the August 28 membership meeting of the Fort Worth Chapter of Texas Association of Addiction Professionals.
“Managed Care Friendly: A Guide to Better Reimbursement and a More Effective Process” is the topic.
“I will outline the process of creating and maintaining a successful collaborative managed care-payment operation while addressing ethics and strategy,” says Cade, who has worked in managed healthcare for more than 15 years.
He will also provide the pros and cons of in-network vs. out-of-network, talk about utilization management and authorizations, and go over the utilization review process.
Utilization Management Veteran
In his current position, Cade supervises UR strategy and partnerships with national organizations and managed care affiliates.
Before joining La Hacienda, he was corporate director for utilization management for the nation’s largest behavioral health company.
Cade has twice spoken on this topic to standing-room-only audiences at National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers (NAATP) national leadership conferences.

The meeting starts at 11:30 a.m. at the Cornerstone Assistance Network, 3500 Noble Ave, Fort Worth.

TAAP is the state affiliate of the National Association for Addiction Professionals.
