Ashley Martel finds satisfaction through helping people–whether they are a patients, family members, or referral sources—find the most effective addiction treatment for them or someone they know.

A counselor for substance abuse patients since 2010, Ashley holds a master’s degree in counseling psychology and a bachelor’s degree in psychology in addition to her LPC license.

Her work experience in substance abuse treatment is key to providing service to patients and treatment professionals. “As a licensed professional counselor who has worked in a treatment center, I understand what they are facing and can answer their questions.”

“My motto is ‘pay it forward,’ so I love to help others and give back what has been given to me.”

With La Hacienda Since 2017

Ashley became La Hacienda’s Business Development representative for the Dallas area in 2017 after being referred for the position by her predecessor, Kaye Smith.

A Native West Texan

Born in San Angelo and raised in Blackwell, Ashley’s a West Texan who likes to be known as loyal, trustworthy, honest, God- loving, real, and down-to-earth.

Married since 2013, she and her husband have three kids and live south of Dallas where she is active in her church and he coaches soccer. She likes to work out, spend time with family and friends, shop, get manicures/pedicures/massages, watch Netflix, and play games on her phone. Her outdoor activities include snow and water skiing.

Sounds like a lot of activity, but Ashley adds, “At this stage in life, our kids keep us pretty busy.”
