This innovative model received national recognition from the Office of National Drug Control Policy and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.
Dr. McQueen is a published author and respected lecturer, with several book chapters and articles focusing on the intersection of addiction, medicine, and public health. She is known for her work advancing the medical understanding of addiction as a chronic disease and for educating professionals across disciplines—including legal and clinical communities—on evidence-based treatment and the impact of substance use on decision-making.
