Time Tested Salsa Still Reigns as King

La Hacienda hosted a Salsa Contest this week among our outstanding Food and Nutrition Staff. Each contestant brought their own personal and unique twist on their delicious recipes. We invited all of our staff to participate as “Taste Testers” in the difficult and grueling task of choosing which salsa they like best and the results are in. We had a tie for first place, congratulations to Ignacio, and Maria our two 1st place winners. Coming in a close 2nd place is Carmen. The interesting fact about one of the winning salsas is that Ignacio’s recipe is the same recipe that is served at our cafeteria everyday!
