Passion with a Purpose

Sarah Oliveira-McDonald, our Fort Worth-based Business Development/Corporate Partnerships Representative, has a passion for helping others and developing lasting relationships with people from all places and backgrounds.

Sarah joined the Business Development Team in 2013, bringing with her 18 years of experience in sales and marketing.

Interested in the business world since she was a young girl, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a Public Relations emphasis and marketing minor from University of Texas-San Antonio.

Following college, Sarah was accepted into and graduated from General Electric’s sales and leadership program.

Her Misery is Now Her Ministry

Confronting her own addiction, Sarah entered treatment in 2010.  From that successful experience she determined that she wanted to turn her skills toward making a difference for others in recovery. She graduated from the Institute for Chemical Dependency Studies and finished coursework for her LCDC. She then started work in behavioral health sales.

For La Hacienda, Sarah has secured large corporate accounts, developed lasting relationships with top attorneys around the state, and developed our Fort Worth alumni group.

Family and Community

In her free moments, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband, David, and three young children. She has a knack for cooking (tacos and homemade cheese enchiladas are favorites), enjoys working out, and loves exploring new places. She volunteers with the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, The Girl Scouts of Texas, YMCA Youth Basketball, and the Texas School of the Arts Parent Teacher Organization.

And she recently celebrated 10 years of sobriety!

Sarah can be reached by phone at (817) 583-7904.

The Business Development Team, led by Director Elizabeth Olson, also has representatives based in Austin, Dallas, Houston and San Antonio.
