Weekend Counselor
Working with patients in their first week of treatment, Brenda takes pride in what she and the weekend team do to help them during that crucial time. She has been a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor since 1991, and a Licensed Vocational Nurse since 1984. Brenda earned a B.A. with honors in psychology with a minor in Family Studies from Texas Woman’s University. She was a licensed probation officer and worked in a state jail as a Certified Therapeutic Community Counselor before joining La Hacienda in 2014.
